Description:For UK Equity Assets _ GBP exposure, HNW believes that investors can achieve suitable portfolio returns at a reasonable cost without "picking winners" by combining broad diversification, linked to investing in the UK economy. Diversification and cost control are achieved using exchange-traded funds (ETF's) and in some cases smart beta funds that invest in passive indices. ETFs are denominated in pound sterling. Investment Strategy The UK Equity Assets _ GBP - SMA is designed for an aggressive component of investors’ portfolios. It provides broad diversified and built-in rebalancing. The Portfolio uses exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to target 100% equity exposure in the UK by broadly diversifying across a mix of UK companies. The Portfolio seeks long-term capital appreciation with high dividend income, and portfolio stability by minimizing the potential short-term impact of any single company or industry. The UK Equity Assets _ GBP - SMA is constructed using thematic ETFs tracking indices the firm believes provide investors with long-term premia. The portfolios is monitored against FTSE 100 Index in GBP.
